Start with the Extraction Score, then audit Physics Core, Market Gap, Market Attention Feed, Diagnosis, and the Extraction Thesis.
The objective is to identify big-league players whose underlying signal is moving before broader market recognition corrects.
MLB Extraction Ledger
The active big-league exploitation surface. It identifies MLB players whose underlying physical or skill profile is stronger than the visible public line implies.
Extraction Score
The top-line conviction score. It blends underlying skill quality, gap between signal and surface results, and remaining market hesitation. Higher scores deserve first audit.
Physics Core
The strength of the underlying player signal before the box score fully reflects it. For pitchers, this can include whiff support, velocity quality, extension, command shape, or pitch traits. For hitters, it can include damage quality, discipline, contact-path, barrel support, and role-backed impact indicators.
Market Gap
The distance between the underlying signal and public-facing perception. A positive gap means the profile may be stronger than the current surface line, roster market, or recent box score suggests.
Market Attention Feed
The public-recognition layer: ownership movement, adds/drops, watchlist activity, and market pressure. When shown as Feed Offline, the physics signal is active but the public-attention feed is not yet wired for that card.
Pitcher Extractions
Pitchers whose internal signal is firmer than the visible line. These cards often come from whiff lift, velocity movement, extension gain, command improvement, workload stabilization, or trend confirmation.
Hitter Extractions
Hitters whose underlying offensive traits are ahead of public pricing. These cards often come from barrel movement, plate-discipline gain, contact-path improvement, damage quality, or role expansion.
Diagnosis
The machine-read reason the player surfaced. Examples include whiff lift, velocity jump, extension gain, trend confirmation, barrel jump, discipline gain, or watchlist-grade accumulation.
Ballistics vs Surface
The visual proof strip. It compares internal movement/quality against visible surface results. Rising or glowing movement means the hidden signal is separating from stale public perception.
Primary Extraction
The leading candidate in the section. This is the first asset to audit, not an automatic roster command.
Mode: Edge
The surface is operating in exploitation mode: looking for player profiles where actionable signal exists before public pricing fully adjusts.
Source Window
The date range used by the build. It tells the operator what sample window the board is using to rank the current extraction candidates.
K/BB
Strikeout-to-walk ratio. For pitchers, it is a command and dominance read. It helps separate real skill movement from noisy short-sample production.
BABIP
Batting average on balls in play. It helps identify whether recent results may be inflated, suppressed, or distorted by batted-ball luck and defensive context.
BF
Batters faced. A pitcher sample-size and workload context metric. Larger samples give more stability; smaller samples require more caution.
Season
The season context attached to the statistical layer. This helps distinguish current-year signal from older baseline information.
Initiate Tracking
A staging action. The player should be monitored in the tracking/watchlist workflow before deciding whether to deploy, hold, ignore, or escalate.
Performance Audit
The deeper player-level evidence trail. Use this before acting on a card so the supporting signal can be inspected directly.
Extraction Thesis
The plain-English reason the card exists. It ties together score, diagnosis, physics, market gap, and visible surface lag.
Public Exposure
Legacy market-visibility language from the original extraction model. In the current MLB Extraction surface, this concept is represented mainly through Market Attention Feed.
How To Use This Board
Audit in order: Extraction Score, Physics Core, Market Gap, Market Attention Feed, Ballistics vs Surface, and Extraction Thesis. The edge is the mismatch between hidden signal movement and delayed public recognition.
